Salmon Chowder with Dill

6 oz cooked salmon

1 shallot, diced

1 teaspoon avocado oil

1 cup chicken broth 

1 cup water 

1 cup milk 

1 teaspoon turmeric 

Salt and pepper 

5 new potatoes, diced

1 strip bacon, cooked and crumbled 

1/4 cup dill, chopped

1 cup corn, frozen fresh

 

Start with 1 teaspoon of avocado oil, and one diced shallot and cook until the translucent. Next add your one cup of chicken broth and 2 cups of water. Bring that to a boil and then turn down to simmer. Next, add your diced new potatoes, frozen corn, salmon, and turmeric, salt and pepper. Simmer this for 15 minutes and then add a quarter cup of chopped dill and the milk. And your bacon garnish. Let simmer for another 15 minutes and enjoy. It’s even better the next day!
